Here are some resources geared towards people of the Christian faith. FREE/cheap resources for getting through grief at the holidays this time. Not a person of faith? No problem! Feel free to ignore! I live by the "take what you need and leave the rest" motto!
1. GriefShare: Surviving the Holidays is a helpful, encouraging seminar for people facing the holidays after a loved one's death. A DVD featuring insights from respected Christian counselors, pastors and others will be shown with practical ways to plan your holidays differently, which not only honors your loved one, but also prepares you to plan ahead and not be blindsided at this difficult time of year. Those who attend will receive a book with over 30 daily readings providing additional insights and ideas on holiday survival.
This one time seminar will be held in two places in November. Please note that the CrossPoint location is for women only.
