When Bad Stuff Happens to Good People June 30, 2010 5:30-9:00 pm
May 5, 2010 at 10:08 AM Have you or a loved one experienced a horrible event? Understanding the impact of trauma on yourself or a loved one can be confusing. Sometimes it can feel like you and your love one are going crazy.
Bad stuff happens: car accidents, burglaries, accidents, shootings, sexual assault, the list goes on and on. Whether something like this happened to you or to someone you care about, the after effects of trauma can be confusing, stressful, and long-lasting.
People can feel (and look) like they are going crazy.
This workshop will give you some insight into why someone feels and acts the way they do after trauma. Understanding can be the first key to healing.
I am Miranda Palmer, and as a licensed therapist and trauma specialist, I know you can feel completely alone when some thing bad impacts your life.
This workshop will not only provide you some insight into the inner workings and positive impact of trauma, but will discuss options for self-help, professional help, and low-cost community options. We will infuse humor and hope into our discussions.
Wednesday, 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm; 1 session on June 30, 2010 Tuition: $35.00 To join us to start the healing process for you or a loved one register online at: http://www.mjc4life.org/
